History

Kouyou is the daughter of traveling carpenters. As the family traveled to different places to sell their products, the young Archen was exposed to various experiences from eating different kinds of food to seeing very unique clothing. From this, she’s lived a happy childhood and she's become quite open-minded. Her parents’ constant moving gave the young girl a sense of wanderlust. The little red-head hoped that she would, one day, be able to travel alone and to wherever she pleased.

When Kouyou was 19, she was sent to live with her grandparents on Scorched Mountain to help them run their onsen. The girl was a bit disappointed since she was at the age that she could live independently, but prioritized in helping her grandparents before her own wants. It would only be for a bit, afterall.

After a year of caring for her grandparents and helping them run their onsen, Kouyou’s parents finally returned from their commission, and found that it was time to settle down. For their daughter, however, they knew she had to live life on her own, and that she was very much anxious on seeing the world. While her parents settled in, she had prepared herself for her new job as an explorer.

Now.. well now... she wanders around like the little spelunker she is, mainly in Gale Spring, hoping to stumble across new and grande things, and befriends all of the little creatures along the road

Additional Info:

-very sensitive about her hair; keeps high maintenance on it to keep it soft and silky

-she carries around a small sack with some of her belongings and snacks

-she sells off some things that she finds for extra money; she’ll even make a few kokeshi dolls to sell if she’s in dire need they’re really cute, you should buy one

-she starts to sparkle when she's excited
